Bus fares will be capped at £2 to ease cost of living

The BBC report that more than 130 bus operators outside London will begin capping single adult fares at £2 next month as part of a government-funded scheme to help people save money

ITV News reports that a new YouGov Survey for End Fuel Poverty Coalition revealed that half of those who live in rural households are classed as vulnerable – with one in five elderly people living in cold, damp homes, and 44% of them living in fuel poverty for the first time
Additional cost of living payment will be paid to millions of households who use oil, LPG or biomass boilers to heat homes
