This session is aimed at Local Authority Press and Communication Officers. The event is free for you to attend as part of your Local Authority membership of the Rural Services Network.
Format of the session
We will provide a short outline of our work at the RSN which may be useful for you in your work representing and promoting the needs of your local area, to link into national policies and campaigns for rural communities.
The session will also include a briefing from BT as part of their Digital Voice Switchover work. We are supporting them with the switchover process to ensure that Local Authorities have the most up to date information about the telephone switchover and implications for their communities, particularly vulnerable residents.
This event is open to eligible RSN members only and will not be recorded, so we encourage you to attend live to take part in the discussion.
