The Yorkshire Times reports that the Government has announced a programme to support farmers across the country to reduce water and air pollution from their land
In collaboration with Natural England and the Environment Agency, DEFRA will provide free one-to-one advice to farmers to help them with their management of farmyard manure and soils among other things which causes pollution.
The annual budget for this programme will be £30m, up from previous projects at £16.6m in 2020 / 21.
