09 Jun 2026
June is shaping up to be a busy month for RSN members, with a range of exclusive online events designed to inform, connect and support those working to improve outcomes for rural communities.
As an RSN member, these sessions are available to you and your colleagues at no additional cost. We encourage you to take full advantage of this valuable membership benefit and to share details of relevant events with colleagues across your organisation who may find them useful.

This special briefing for communications and press officers will provide an overview of RSN’s current rural policy work and campaigns, alongside an important update from BT on the Digital Voice Switchover programme and what it means for rural communities, particularly vulnerable residents.

Social Value Engine: Measuring Impact in Rural Communities
Wednesday 17 June, 1.30pm – 2.30pm
Join us for an introduction to the Social Value Engine, including practical case studies from Community Action Suffolk and Cheshire Community Action. This session will explore how organisations can better understand, measure and demonstrate the social value they create within rural communities.
Looking Ahead: The National Rural Conference 2026
Bookings are also now open for sessions at the National Rural Conference 2026. Over the coming weeks we will be highlighting the programme, speakers and key discussion themes, but members can already secure their places for what promises to be another important opportunity to hear from leading policymakers, practitioners and rural stakeholders.
We know how busy schedules can be, but these events are designed specifically for RSN members and provide a unique opportunity to stay informed, share experiences and engage directly with experts on issues affecting rural communities. If a session is relevant to your role, or to someone else’s within your organisation, please do make the most of this membership benefit and join us. See all future meetings and events here.
