13:30 – 14:30

Online | Zoom

The Rural Services Network is delighted to invite members to an exclusive online session exploring how organisations can better understand, evidence and communicate the wider impact of their work through the Social Value Engine.

In an increasingly challenging funding and policy environment, being able to demonstrate social value has become more important than ever. Whether supporting funding bids, strengthening business cases, informing service design or evidencing community impact, understanding social value can play a vital role in decision-making.

At this session, members will hear directly from:

Ivan Annibal will provide an overview of the Social Value Engine itself, explaining how the platform works in practice and how organisations are using it to better understand, measure and evidence the wider impact of projects and initiatives.

Members will also hear practical case studies from Cheshire Community Action and Community Action Suffolk, exploring how the tool is being used to support funding bids, service development and impact reporting.

The Social Value Engine was developed in response to the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 and is designed to help organisations capture the wider social, economic and environmental impact of their work.

This promises to be an insightful and practical session for anyone involved in service delivery, funding, commissioning, community development or project evaluation.

This session is free for all members, however booking is essential and we encourage members to reserve their place early.
