Wessex Water supplies water and sewerage services to 2.8 million customers across the South West of England, including Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, most of Wiltshire, and parts of Gloucestershire and Hampshire.

Our region includes major population centres such as Bristol and Bath in the north west (around 750,000 people) and Bournemouth and Poole in the south east (around 300,000 people). It also covers a wide mix of rural and coastal communities, from the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels to Dorset’s cliffs, Salisbury Plain and well?known seaside towns including Weston?super?Mare, Minehead, Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth.

We know that many customers in our region may experience vulnerability at different points in their lives — whether due to rural or digital isolation, financial pressures, age, ill health, disability, mental illness or additional needs. The number of customers needing support is growing, and demand for our services is increasing.

We now have more ways than ever to identify, reach and support people who need extra help. We work closely with a wide range of partners across the region to make sure customers get the right support at the right time.
