The Today Conveyancer reports that an increased demand for country living has encouraged housing developers and local authorities to create more homes, resulting in an increase of new-build developments in rural areas
Research from Warwick Estates reveals the rural places where a large percentage of homes currently listed for sale are new-build properties.
The report highlights how some of these areas include Ripon and North Yorkshire, where new-builds account for 18% of the current stock.
Similarly in Wallingford, Oxfordshire and Ledbury and Herefordshire, new builds make up 17% of the market.
