Community Catalysts is inviting practitioners and partners to join its next New Social Leaders cohort, starting this March – a peer support programme designed to strengthen neighbourhood and place-based health initiatives.
If you are working to improve wellbeing at a community level, this programme offers structured learning alongside a supportive peer network.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of neighbourhood health concepts, including the role of local assets and community dynamics
- Identify key enablers and barriers to effective cross-sector collaboration
- Apply practical tools and strategies to enhance place-based health initiatives
- Develop a personalised action plan tailored to their local context
- Build a peer network for shared learning and ongoing collaboration
For members working across rural health and services, this is a valuable opportunity to strengthen community-led approaches and build practical, place-sensitive solutions.
