There are now less than two months left before Warm Homes: Local Grant Expressions of Interest must be submitted (deadline of 1 December 2024).
Retrofit Support, Information and Expertise (RISE) is increasing its support to rural local authorities, helping them to plan energy performance upgrades to those low-income households that need the most support, and to access the funding available through the Warm Homes schemes.

Understanding The WH:LG Expression Of Interest Form Itself
RISE has published a series of step by step, walk-through videos to help anyone currently getting ready to complete the Warm Homes Expression of Interest form.
The 4 short videos provide guidance on each of the eight sections of the form, making the process as simple as possible. More guidance, and all the guidance videos can be found on the RISE website.
Supporting The Retrofit Of Different Types Of Rural, Or Non-Traditional Build Homes
Rural Authorities often face challenges related to their housing stock when planning retrofit – whether that is historic buildings where there are more complex planning constraints, non-standard build types that require bespoke approaches, or challenges due to poor access or remote locations.
